Couple's decent getaway
The bar and breakfast area had plenty of room and a vast mixture of seating arrangements, which felt nice and accommodating. Plus, the staff were really friendly and helped me settle in fast, which is important when you’re trying to relax after a long journey.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was still acceptable.

A Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed a lovely evening at the bar while waiting for our dinner reservation. The staff were attentive, but we felt the scheduling could be better managed—guests with earlier arrivals were seated ahead of us. For future guests, I recommend calling ahead to confirm dining availability.

We enjoyed our stay here while exploring the nearby forest trails in the New Forest. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere with tastefully decorated interiors. Our children loved the comfy beds, giving us all a good night’s sleep after a day of activities.
My kids wished there were more family-friendly options on the menu. A broader selection would certainly improve the overall experience for families.

I had a pleasant two-night stay in a Standard King Room. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel at home. I particularly enjoyed the dining experience. the food was well-prepared and tasty, with a variety of delicious options for breakfast. My only concern was that the bathroom could use some updating, but it didn't greatly detract from my overall experience.
